Rivoningo Gift Mtolo is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist dedicated to transforming lives and building lasting legacies. Born from a deep personal connection to service and community upliftment, Rivoningo's journey is one of faith, resilience, and purpose-driven action.
Establishing the Foundation
The Dr Themba Oscar Makhubele Foundation was born from a place of profound loss and love. Following the passing of his father, Dr Themba Oscar Makhubele, on 23 May 2022, Rivoningo experienced deep grief but also discovered a powerful calling to continue his father's legacy of service.
Dr Makhubele was more than just a medical doctor - he was a healer, helper, and hero in his community. He believed in treating everyone with dignity, regardless of their circumstances, and lived by the principle: "Be kind to people, and God will bless you."
Inspired by these words and driven by his father's example, Rivoningo established the Foundation as a living tribute. What began as a small charity clothing drive in Tshiawelo has grown into a registered non-profit organization (NPC 2025/531768/08) that now serves communities across South Africa.
The Foundation was officially registered in 2025 and became fully active, focusing on educational services, youth programs, counselling, nutrition, and community development - all while honoring the memory and values of Dr Themba Oscar Makhubele.
Prince Gift Mtolo Legacy Holdings PTY LTD
As Founder and Director of Prince Gift Mtolo Legacy Holdings PTY LTD, Rivoningo oversees a diversified portfolio of business ventures focused on sustainable growth and community impact. The company collaborates closely with the Dr Themba Oscar Makhubele Foundation, providing strategic support and resources under his leadership and guidance to amplify the Foundation's community development initiatives.
Herbalife Distributor
Since December 2025, Rivoningo has served as an Herbalife Distributor, promoting health, wellness, and nutrition - values that align perfectly with the Foundation's mission of holistic community support. Through this role, he educates communities about proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and preventive healthcare. His work with Herbalife complements the Foundation's nutrition programs, providing access to quality supplements and wellness education that supports overall community health and wellbeing.
Community Leadership
Beyond business, Rivoningo is deeply committed to community service, youth mentorship, and creating sustainable pathways for empowerment through education and entrepreneurship. He actively participates in community development initiatives, serves as a mentor to young entrepreneurs, and advocates for educational opportunities. His leadership extends to organizing community workshops, career guidance sessions, and entrepreneurship training programs that equip individuals with practical skills for personal and professional growth.
